The Glendale Parks & Open Space Foundation seeks to raise funds through a variety of means including grants, individual donations, and special events. ART from the Ashes and the Verdugo Mountains 10K Trail Run and Hike are two significant events that have resulted in funds being raised by the Foundation. These funds, in turn, are then used to support new and existing parks, open space, and recreation programs in Glendale.
