George Balteria
Since 2014 George has served as a project manager and recently promoted to Director of Design and Construction at North East Trees, an environmental non-profit organization in the North East area of Los Angeles. His projects include habitat restoration, construction of parks & conservation work in underserved communities in the greater Los Angeles area. George has worked in the Parks and Construction industries for over 40 years at regional and municipal agencies. George has worked at administrative levels for the County of Riverside Regional Parks and City of Glendale Community Services and Parks.
He has been an instructor in the Engineering Dept. at Norco College from 1980 until his recent retirement in 2021. George is currently serving as a Board member with the Inland Empire chapter of the Construction Specification Institute. George has recently been involved in the development of significant conservation projects along the LA River, at various City of Los Angeles Recreation and Parks & Housing Authority sites and at elementary school campus Greening Projects for the Glendale Unified School District and the LAUSD.
