Dottie Sharkey is Founder of the Glendale Parks & Open Space Foundation. Originally from Connecticut and Florida, she moved with her husband Rob to Southern California where she worked with CBS television and radio for 25 years.
She is Past-president and Commissioner of the Glendale Parks, Recreation, and Community Service Commission, still recognized as former co-host of GTV6’S pet adoption show “The Dog House”, often seen lectoring and volunteering in her church, and frequently spotted enjoying the outdoors, especially hiking or walking with friends in one of the Glendale’s beautiful parks.
She is proud to have launched with others, our Foundation’s two fundraisers — Verdugo Mountains 10K Trail Run & Hike and Glendale Dodger Night.
